HARRISVILLE- Timothy A. Austin,66, South Creek Rd, died Tuesday evening at his home while under the care of his family and Lewis County Hospice.
Tim was born March 17, 1943 in Gouverneur to Allen and Alta Hutton Austin. He graduated from Gouverneur High School. He married Joyce Trumble October 1, 1965. He was employed by various construction companies including, Rouse Construction, V.J. Vincent Construction and Granger Construction, where he retired from due to illness.
He loved hunting, fishing, spending time admiring nature and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, a son, Timothy, Gouverneur; three daughters, Jody Baker, Schenectady; Julie Operchal and Kelly DeDominicis, Conway PA. He also has a brother and sister, Terry, Oxbow; and Trudy Mullane, N. Kingston, RI;and 10 grandchildren.
He is predeceased by his parents, a brother, Barry and a granddaughter, Hannah Elizabeth Baker.
At his wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours. He was cremated. Burial will take place at a later date. Arrangements are with the Adirondack Funeral Home, Harrisville.
